Family Photo Shoot In Cornwall

When you’re on holiday what better way to celebrate than capturing some authentic family moments during a relaxed family photo shoot on the beach in Cornwall?

Andrea along with her husband, son and of course their choc Lab visited Coverack for a week’s holiday in April to celebrate a very special birthday. They wanted some keepsakes from this special Cornish holiday and got in touch to book a Family Adventure Session for the four of them.

The brief was simple: Andrea wanted some photographs which captured them interacting with each other, un-posed and most importantly with them all together as a family.

Andrea’s young teenage son was a little camera shy to start with (aren’t we all?!).  We quickly got into the swing of things and the nerves were soon forgotten.

It’s surprising how many activities you can conjur on the beach- stone skimming competitions, races up and down the shingle, rock climbing, playing fetch with the dog – having lots of fun and real laughter aplenty!

Dogs are an important part of the family so I love it when families want to include them in their shoot. Andrea’s lab called Arthur was a star, he particularly enjoyed running across the beach playing fetch!

Outdoor Family Photo Shoots In Cornwall

Adventure Sessions are family photo shoots which last for around 60 minutes. They are documentary or candid shoots where forcing a smile and posing is definitely NOT encouraged!

Adventure Sessions are lots of fun and not for families who DON’T want to stand still in front of the camera, posing uncomfortably saying cheese.

If you like being outdoors and having an adventure then these family photo sessions are definitely for you! To find out more about my family photography click here.
